Audrey Hepburn inspired Make-up

Hi everyone,

I got a little sentimental today as i listened to  Audrey's  song-Moon River.  As i watched the video i saw that she wore a beautiful yet very simple and elegant make-up. So i decided to give it a try. It is extremely simple and you can wear it with different hairstyle and get great results.

This is flattering for any kind of face shape and it will take around 20 minutes to do.

I see this look very much alike Monroe's but the brows are more emphasized and they kind of don't have any arch (i left mine as they are though, because i had to go out).

The palette used is based on neutral colors.

I have applied the following:

  • Base for the foundation- Used one from Sephora

  • Foundation- i have used here   Face Finity from Max Factor . It's pretty ok if you consider the price

  • Concealer- i used one from Chanel

  • Translucent powder to secure all of the above(Max Factor)

  • Blush: Miss Hepburn wore very little or no blush. In this look, i have applied a peachy color from Frontcover. It is a baked blush, that will give you a fresh and radiant look for good hours

  • Highlight: Normally i use a creamy one but now i decided to put on some white shimmery shadow on the top of my cheek bones, using a fan brush

  • Eyes hadow: She wore only mate colors so i decided to apply after the beige, some white on the inner corner of the eye. At half a centimeter away from the crease, i have applied brown, which was blended out . Here i have used NYX-nude by nude palette.

  • Eyeliner- i have used gel eyeliner because it just last longer and it doesn't smudge at all.

  • Fake lashes.. yes, i used some fake lashes, but i used single strands and applied them randomly, as i aimed for a natural look.

  • I applied a white pencil on the waterline to make my eyes look bigger and brighter

  • Lips: I used a peachy color from Chanel for the photo above ,but i later applied a deep red on the whole lip, except the middle, where i blended up the two, for a plumper effect.

  • As for the hair... i tried on multiple options until i settled for one of them..i even tried on a kerchief, haha!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Have a great evening!

Cris :)
