Le Petit Marseillais Review
This care line was invented in 1982 by Bernard Lengellé. It had a shy start, with a small variety of soaps that were sold in pharmacies. In 1985 this small yet promising idea was bought by Laboratoires Vendôme, a pharmaceutical company. Now, Laboratoires Vendôme is owned by Johnson & Johnson, which I am sure you have already heard about.
A few weeks ago, this lovely care line entered our cosmetic market and by the looks of it, I think it will represent a strong competition to Dove because of the price- quality ratio.

Let’s get into the details. I have tried for about a week, the following items:
-
Honey and Karite Milk shampoo(for dry and damaged hair)
-
Honey and Karite Milk conditioner
-
Peach and Nectarine Shower gel

The shampoo is very different from what I have used before because it makes a very thick foam that curiously gets off really fast, leaving the hair very clean and with a light scent of honey (that was very appreciated by my husband). This shampoo is very creamy, with the consistency of a conditioner.
The conditioner is WOW! I absolutely love it to bits and I will stick to it from now on. I kept it in my hair for about 10 minutes and when I rinsed it off, I could not believe how soft and detangled my hair was. Brushing took me a lot less and I am so, so, so happy I found it.
Last but not least, the nectarine and peach shower gel: It reminded me of a juice I used to drink while I was little, called Tang. It is very rich and creamy. It can easily be compared with the Dove care line. If you like Dove, you will love Le Petit Marseillais.
Now, considering the price, I think these items are a great bargain. I like the whole concept: the packaging, the variety of smells, the textures and most of all, the results.
I am sure you will read plenty of good reviews about these products. :)
Have you used this care line ? Let’s share ideas, I am really curious about what you think about it.
Have a great day!
